Hayden Webster BVSc.

I have been a member of the Lodi community since 2011. I am a South African born Kiwi vet who has somehow ended up “Stuck in Lodi”!

After graduating in 2006 with a Veterinary Degree from Massey University Veterinary School in New Zealand, I worked as a mixed animal veterinarian in New Zealand for 18 months and in 2008 moved to the US to be with my then fiance Alicia (Also Dr. Webster!). I completed a 2-year Masters of Veterinary Science-focused on Animal Welfare-at the University of Illinois.

After a short stint in rural Montana, we moved to sunny California in early 2011 and have made Lodi our home ever since. Our family has grown to include three little boys and a bunch of critters.

My background is as a mixed animal practitioner, experienced in both production and companion animal medicine and surgery. Since 2011 I have focused on companion animal medicine and have a special interest in soft tissue surgery and diagnostic ultrasound.

From 2011 until now, I have worked in Lockeford, Lathrop and Elk Grove; I am ecstatic to finally be based at home in Lodi. This hospital has such a dedicated, positive staff and Dr. Dornton has built a hospital with an outstanding reputation for quality medicine/surgery and compassionate care.

I am excited to re-connect with old clients and meet new faces-people and animals alike. Providing quality medicine and a positive experience for all is something I am very excited about!

Come in for a check-up or just to say hi. I look forward to meeting you all!

Casey Gregory DVM

Casey Gregory grew up in Northern California, spending his early years in Redding and his teenage years in Sacramento. He graduated from Bella Vista High School, where he was a pole-vaulter, setting the school record and qualifying for the state meet in his senior year. He is a 2000 graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where he earned his BS in biology.

He completed his DVM at the University of Georgia in 2006 and graduated magna cum laude. Casey has practiced small animal medicine since graduation and especially enjoys soft tissue surgery and wound management.

He and his wife, Jessica, have lived in Lodi for more than a decade, and their son, Carson, was born in 2012. In his spare time, Casey enjoys outdoor activities such as running, biking, hiking, and bouncing on the trampoline with Carson. The Gregory family has two fur babies, Oscar the cat (17) and Georgia the dog (5), and would eventually like to add a few backyard chickens.

Louise Castelanelli DVM

I grew up on a small dairy farm and gained a great love of cows and all animals. I spent my youth following our Vet around every chance I got and I knew that’s what I wanted to do.

My goal has always been to enhance the quality of life for every patient and treat them as gently and kindly as possible to alleviate any of their fears or anxieties.

I have four children who are grown and have families of their own now but still have many furry creatures to keep me moving. I have a cow (of course), chickens, sheep, two border collies named Josie and Dickie and four cats Rica, Kitten Mittens, Holstein and Doug.

My philosophy has always been if you have the choice to sit down or dance…I HOPE YOU DANCE!

Rebecca Eaton DVM

I graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988 and returned to Southern California where I grew up. After 5 years of working at an emergency clinic I opened my own practice in Calimesa, and that’s where I stayed until 2007. After selling my practice I moved to Galt California in 2008 to care for my mother with Alzheimer’s. I’ve been in Northern California ever since.

I was an avid horseback rider and hiker who loved to explore the trails here in Northern California. After a bad injury I can no longer ride but still find a great deal of joy in caring for my retired horses. I also love gardening and hanging out with my eclectic group of pets. I am excited to be a part of the Lodi Veterinary Hospital team as well as meet all the clients and their pets.
